Terms of Service
Last updated: October 3, 2026. These terms apply from the day SAI's website opens to the public.
The short version (the full terms below are what count):
- SAI is an artificial intelligence, not a person. It can be wrong. Check anything important, and don't rely on it for medical, legal, financial or emergency decisions.
- You must be 18 or older.
- SAI is in early access. During early access your conversations may be saved and reviewed to make SAI better. Don't share passwords, card numbers, or anything you want kept private.
- Some things SAI will never help with (Section 6). Trying to get around its safety checks or limits can pause or end your access.
- If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (US) or your local emergency number. SAI is not an emergency service.

1. Who we are and agreeing to these terms
SAI is made and operated by Universal Network Development LLC, doing business as U.N.D Industries ("UND," "we," "us," "our"), a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Florida, United States. These Terms of Service cover SAI's website, web app, voice features, memberships and any related service we provide under the SAI name (together, "SAI").
By using SAI, creating an account, signing in, or buying a membership, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use SAI. If you use SAI for an organization, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.
2. SAI is an AI
SAI is an artificial intelligence system. When you talk with SAI you are not talking with a human, even when its replies sound natural or friendly. SAI's replies are generated automatically and can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong, including when they sound confident.
- Not professional advice. SAI can share general information, but it is not a doctor, lawyer, financial advisor, therapist or other professional, and nothing it says is professional advice. Talk to a qualified professional about your own situation.
- You decide. You are responsible for how you use SAI's replies, including checking facts before relying on them.
- What the web version can't do. On the web, SAI does not browse the internet, does not remember past conversations, cannot see your files, and cannot take actions in the world unless we clearly say a feature does.
- Not suitable for everyone. SAI is built for adults and may not be suitable for minors.
3. Who can use SAI
You must be at least 18 years old to use SAI or buy a membership. By using SAI you confirm that you are. SAI is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. You may not use SAI where the law does not allow it, or if we have previously ended your access.
4. Accounts, sign-in and agreements
- Your account. You sign in with Google, Apple or a one-time code sent to your email. A membership is bought for the account you are signed in with and belongs to that account only; it cannot be transferred, shared or resold.
- You agree each time. Every time you sign in or create an account you agree to the version of these terms and the Privacy Policy shown at that moment, and we keep a dated record of each agreement. If we change them, we may ask you to agree again before you keep using SAI.
- One device at a time. An account can be signed in on one device at a time. Signing in somewhere new signs the other device out.
- Google sign-in. If you sign in with Google, Google's own terms also apply to your Google account.
- Keep it safe. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at support@universalnetworkdevelopment.com if you think someone else is using it, and we will help you secure it.
- Accurate information. Don't impersonate anyone or create accounts to get around a limit, a suspension or a ban.
5. Early access
SAI is in early access. That means:
- Features, limits and availability can change, and some parts of SAI are marked "coming soon." Membership benefits described as coming later are plans, not guarantees of a delivery date.
- Funding milestones and Founder perks. Features and perks described as unlocking at a funding milestone (for every member, and the extra perks for Founders, such as a Founder badge, founder pricing on renewal, early access to new features, a vote on what we build next, and the Developer plan) are delivered only if and when SAI reaches that milestone, and no delivery date is promised. The milestones and what each one unlocks are listed on the membership page. The access period you paid for does not depend on any milestone.
- There may be errors, interruptions and lost conversations. Please keep your own copy of anything important.
- To make SAI better, your conversations may be saved and reviewed by our team, and used as described in Section 8 and our Privacy Policy. A private mode is planned; until it is available, do not share anything you want kept private.
- If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
SAI will never help with, and you may not use SAI for:
- Weapons that can cause mass harm, including explosives and chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear weapons, or making or getting illegal weapons.
- Any sexual content involving minors, or anything that sexualizes, grooms or exploits a child. Any attempt is refused, pauses the account at once, and alerts our team.
- Violence, threats, stalking, harassment or intimidation of anyone, or planning or encouraging harm.
- Instructions or encouragement for suicide or self-harm (people in crisis get support instead; see Section 7).
- Making or getting illegal drugs, trafficking, fraud, scams, identity theft or other crimes.
- Malware, hacking into systems or accounts you do not own, or other cyberattacks.
- Hate or harassment against people for who they are, or sexually explicit content.
- Collecting, exposing or tracking another person's private information without their permission.
- Deceiving people in ways that harm them, including impersonating a real person.
You also may not:
- Try to get around SAI's safety checks, usage limits, spending limits or sign-in protections, including with "jailbreak" prompts, fake conversation history, or multiple accounts.
- Probe, scan, attack, overload, or reverse engineer SAI, or access it by any automated means (bots, scrapers, scripts) except as we allow in writing.
- Use SAI or its replies to build, train, evaluate or improve a competing AI model or service.
- Resell, sublicense or share access to SAI, or present SAI as your own product.
- Use SAI in violation of any law, or to violate anyone else's rights, including their intellectual property and privacy.
7. Safety checks, crisis support and enforcement
- Automatic safety checks. Every message you send and every reply SAI writes is checked automatically before you see the reply. Requests in the categories in Section 6 are refused.
- Crisis support. If you tell SAI you are thinking about suicide or hurting yourself, SAI responds with care and points you to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988 in the US) or your local emergency number, and it will not give methods. SAI is not a crisis service and cannot contact anyone for you. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number.
- Pauses and suspensions. Repeated attempts to get prohibited content pause an account for the rest of the day. Any attempt involving child sexual exploitation pauses it immediately. We may suspend or end accounts for any violation of these terms.
- Every mode, every plan. Safety checks and limits apply to every conversation, in any mode and on any membership.
- Alerts and the law. A message that appears to involve the sexual exploitation of a child also alerts our team. We respond to valid legal requests from law enforcement.
Automated checks are not perfect. We do not promise that every harmful reply will be caught or that every refusal is correct, and you remain responsible for how you use SAI.
8. Your content, SAI's replies, and how we use them
- Yours. As between you and us, you keep your rights in what you type or say to SAI ("Input"). To the extent the law allows, we assign to you our rights in SAI's replies to you ("Output"). Output may not be unique: SAI may give similar replies to other people, and those are not yours.
- Our license to operate and improve SAI. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, store, review, and use your Input and Output to provide SAI, keep it safe, enforce these terms, comply with the law, and improve SAI, which can include evaluating and training SAI's own models. We never sell your conversations and never use them for advertising.
- Your responsibility. You confirm you have the right to share your Input and that it does not break the law or anyone's rights. Do not put other people's private information into SAI.
- Voice. If you use voice, your audio is sent to be turned into text and SAI's replies are turned into speech. See the Privacy Policy for what is kept.
9. Limits, memberships and payments
- Limits. Each account has usage limits set by its membership: one for each session (5 hours from when you start using SAI, including a spoken greeting) and one for each week (7 days from when you start), covering messages and voice together, and a context window (how much of one conversation SAI keeps in mind at once). SAI shows how much of each you have used, as a percentage, and when it resets. SAI also has limits for everyone together, which reset at midnight UTC, and no one account may use more than a share of them in a day. We may change limits, and a limit can be reached early if SAI's shared capacity runs out.
- Long conversations. When a conversation gets long, SAI may compress the older part into short notes so it can keep going, and when you are close to your session or weekly limit it may write you a recap. Compressing and recaps use a small part of your usage (never counted as a message). Notes and recaps are written by SAI and can leave out details; check anything important.
- Memberships. The price, what is included, and whether it renews are shown before you pay. Payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. By paying you authorize the charge shown.
- Renewals and cancelling. When you buy a monthly membership you choose whether it renews automatically; the price and how often you are charged are shown before you pay. If renewal is on, your card is charged the monthly price on the same date each month until you turn renewal off. You can turn renewal off, cancel, update your card or see your invoices online at any time in SAI under Settings > Plan and billing ("Manage billing"); cancelling stops renewal at the end of the period you already paid for. Each year we email you a reminder of your renewal, its price and how to cancel. A one-time membership (such as Founder) does not renew. You can also write to billing@universalnetworkdevelopment.com.
- Refunds. Refunds follow the U.N.D Industries Refund Policy, except where the law gives you more.
- Price changes. We may change prices for future periods and will tell you before a change applies to a renewal. Taxes that apply where you live may be added.
10. Our property
SAI, including its software, models, prompts, design, look and feel, the SAI name and marks, and the U.N.D Industries name and logo, belongs to UND or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret and other laws. We give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use SAI under these terms. You may not copy, clone, mirror, frame, modify, or reverse engineer SAI, or use our names or marks without our written permission. For copyright complaints, see the U.N.D Industries DMCA Policy.
11. Services we rely on
SAI runs on services from other companies, including Cloudflare (hosting, security, and the AI models that power SAI's replies, safety checks and voice), Stripe (payments), our email provider (to send sign-in codes and receipts), and, if you use it, Google sign-in. They are independent companies with their own terms. We are not responsible for their services, and an outage on their side can make SAI unavailable.
12. No warranties
SAI is provided "as is" and "as available," with all faults, and without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, and quiet enjoyment. We do not promise that SAI will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free or accurate, that any reply is correct or safe to rely on, or that any problem will be fixed. Some places do not allow some of these exclusions, so some may not apply to you.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, UND and its members, managers, employees, contractors and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to SAI or these terms, however caused, and whether based on contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or any other theory, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for all claims arising out of or related to SAI or these terms, including claims based on our own negligence, will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for SAI in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (US $100). These limits do not apply to liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
14. Indemnity
To the extent the law allows, you will defend, indemnify and hold harmless UND and its members, managers, employees, contractors and agents from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of SAI, your Input, your use of SAI's replies, or your breach of these terms or of any law or anyone's rights.
15. Suspension and ending your access
You can stop using SAI at any time. We may pause, suspend or end your access, with or without notice, if we believe you broke these terms, created risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if we stop offering SAI or early access. If we end a paid membership without cause, we will refund the unused part of the period you paid for. If we end it because you broke these terms, no refund is owed unless the law requires one. Sections that by their nature should continue (including 8, 10, and 12 through 19) continue after your access ends.
16. Disputes and governing law
Talk to us first. Before starting any formal claim, you agree to email contact@universalnetworkdevelopment.com with a description of the dispute, and we will both try in good faith to resolve it for at least thirty (30) days.
Courts and law. These terms and any dispute about SAI are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in the State of Florida, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction and venue. To the extent the law allows, claims must be brought individually, and not as a plaintiff or class member in a class, consolidated or representative action.
17. General terms
- Whole agreement. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about SAI.
- Severability. If part of these terms cannot be enforced, that part is limited or removed as little as needed, and the rest stays in effect.
- No waiver. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
- Assignment. You may not transfer these terms. We may transfer them, including in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- Events outside our control. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages of the services SAI relies on, attacks, and government action.
- Export and sanctions. You may not use SAI where US export controls or sanctions forbid it.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the "Last updated" date, and for important changes we will tell you in SAI or by email before they apply to you. If you keep using SAI after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
